Is there an additional charge for airport pickup?

Airport pickup is mostly free. Where we have a branch or cover the airport city, collecting your car at the airport usually comes at no extra charge. Where we do not have a branch and need to deliver the car to the airport, a delivery fee applies, shown on the vehicle list page when you book. A separate fee may also apply for pickups outside normal hours.
Airport pickup is one of the most convenient ways to start your trip, you collect the car as you land and drive out. Here is how any charge works, so there are no surprises.
Is Airport Pickup Free?
In most cases, yes. For airports where we have a branch or cover the city, airport pickup is usually free, you collect the car at the airport without an extra charge. This applies to our main airport locations. Where we do not have a branch and the car has to be delivered to the airport for you, a delivery fee applies instead, because we are bringing the car to you. That fee is shown clearly on the vehicle list page when you choose your car, so you can see it before you book.
When Does a Delivery Fee Apply?
The difference comes down to whether we have a branch or coverage at that airport:
- Airport with our branch or city coverage: pickup is usually free
- Airport we deliver to (no branch): a delivery fee applies, shown on the vehicle list page
So the price you see at booking already reflects which applies to your airport. Checking the vehicle list page when you choose your car shows the exact figure, if any, for your pickup.
What Is the Out-of-Hours Fee?
Separately from the above, a fee may apply for pickups outside normal operating hours, for example very late at night or very early in the morning. This covers arranging a handover at an unusual time. If your flight arrives outside normal hours and you want the car on arrival, this out-of-hours fee may apply, and it is shown as part of your booking so you know about it in advance. If you would rather avoid it, you could arrange pickup during normal hours instead, or have the car delivered to your hotel later.
How Do I Know the Exact Cost?
The clearest way is to start a booking. The vehicle list page shows any delivery fee for your chosen car and location, and the booking shows any out-of-hours fee that applies to your pickup time. This means the total you see at booking already includes these, so there are no hidden surprises at the airport.
