How Long Do I Need to Have My Driving Licence?

Agtran requires drivers to have held a valid driving licence for at least 2 years. This means being 21 or above is not the only requirement: the length of time you have held your licence also needs to meet the rental requirement. For example, if you are 25 but have held your licence for only one year, contact Agtran before booking to confirm whether you are eligible to rent.

Can I Rent a Car with a P Licence?

If you hold a P (Probationary) Driving Licence, check with Agtran before booking. A P licence is issued to new drivers during the probationary period. Because Agtran requires a driver to have held a valid licence for at least 2 years, a driver with a P licence may not meet the licence-duration requirement. Can I Rent a Car with an L Licence?
